**Süleymaniye Mosque** - The masterpiece of the great architect Sinan. Today, it is the largest mosque after the Çamlıca Mosque. It was built in 1557 during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. The mosque complex includes a library, madrasah, baths, kitchens, and even an observatory. In the courtyard of the mosque, the tombs of Sultan Suleiman and his beloved wife Roxelana are located in two adjacent mausoleums.

**Şehzadebaşı Mosque** - The mosque was built by order of Suleiman I in honor of his eldest son, who died at a young age, and was designed by architect Sinan. The mosque's cemetery contains 7 tombs: the tombs of Prince Mehmed, Grand Vizier Rüstem Pasha, Prince Mahmud, Fatma Hanım Sultan, Hatice Sultan, son-in-law Bosnian Ibrahim Pasha, and Mustafa Destari Pasha.

**Dolmabahçe Palace** - A luxurious palace of the sultans on the shores of the Bosphorus. It was constructed between 1842-1853 for Sultan Abdulmejid I, who wanted a baroque-style palace to rival the elegance of 18th-century European residences. The decoration of the Crystal Staircase and other interiors used 14 tons of gold, with the total construction cost amounting to approximately five million gold pounds. After the fall of the monarchy, Atatürk resided in the palace and died there on November 10, 1938. After his death, the palace became a museum where you can learn about the lives of the last monarchs of the Ottoman Empire.
